Chalet Ski Holidays

Half term ski holidays are selling well according to Chalet Ski holidays who report that many ski resorts now only have limited availability and this is fast running out. Val d'Isere and Chamonix are two of the most popular ski resorts, whereas Verbier, always one of the most popular luxury ski resorts in Europe during the half term ski holidays has seen slower than usual sales due to the high swiss franc, although October has seen significant increases.

With sales remaining strong, limited availability at best is expected for the ski half term week towards the end of this month.

Half Term ski Holidays

Well after good sales in February and March in relation to the half term ski holidays, demand has relaxed a little as families look towards two weeks in the sun rather than than the all important ski half term break. A number of chalets are already booked and if there is a world wide recession then it doesn't appear to be affecting demand for the half term ski holidays with bookings again up on the last two years. There is however no need to panic just yet however as there is still good availability generally but expect this to decrease rapidly through August and Septembber in particular so our suggestion is don't leave it too long!

Half Term Ski Holidays Selling Well

Well it may be over 8 months away, but already the half term ski holidays are proving popular and in some cases exceeding the New Year ski demand. I guess this may reflect the family connection with half term as families always need to plan early. Nevertheless if you are looking to secure a ski half term holiday then you may want to get in quick. Half Term Ski are linked above and probably one, if not the best ski half term specialists as they are run byy family skiers themselves, and as they claim, not by 'teenage sales people'!

Half Term Ski Holiday

Its now only just over three weeks before the ski half term break for private schools (12th Feb), and four weeks for public schools (week commencing 19th Feb) so many families I'm sure will be feeling the excitement build now. In terms of the snow, its been a baron January to be honest but with several cold days the snow cannons have made a big difference with a great artificial base and snow is also expected before the ski half term break. We'll keep you posted on the weather and the snow here at the Ski Half Term blog.
